A Virginia state lawmaker has been charged with two felonies after allegedly doing a hit-and-run.
Republican lawmaker Matt Fariss was charged after allegedly hitting a female acquaintance with his SUV and leaving the scene.
The woman suffered minor injuries and has since made a full recovery.
Fariss has claimed he is innocent.
