In his speech yesterday announcing the annexation of the Russian-speaking Donbass territories, Russian President Vladimir Putin charged the west with practicing “Satanism” and of imposing “perversions” on children.
Putin called for a ceasefire in Ukraine and return to the negotiating table.
Ukrainian President Zelensky vowed to keep fighting until Putin is gone, and filed for his country to join NATO quickly, putting the West on a head-on collision course with Moscow.
“Today we are signing agreements on the admission of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Luhansk People’s Republic, the Zaporizhia Region and the Kherson Region to Russia,” Putin stated, after referenda were held in the Russian-occupied territories in favor of joining Russia.
