A U.S. mail truck reportedly carrying dozens of absentee ballots caught fire in southwest Georgia on Monday.
“According to law enforcement officials, the mail carrier was not injured, but the vehicle and the mail it contained were completely destroyed,” The Gateway Pundit stated.
From the Baker County Sheriff’s Office:
A vehicle fire in the 1000 block of Pretoria/Tarva Rd. claimed the jeep and a lot of U.S. Mail. The mail delivery driver was unharmed. The Newton Post Office has a list of packages and mail on this particular route if you are expecting a delivery.

The Secretary of State’s office issued a statement warning ballots may have been destroyed in the fire.
