There is this habit in America where anything said by someone who doesn’t tow the line set by the media is considered to be “controversial.”
A double standard absolutely exists, and it is extremely evident when looking at how the topic of race is covered by the American media.
Case and point:
Dilbert creator Scott Adams recently claimed that white people should “get the hell away from black people.”
This was in response to a poll where nearly half of black people who partook claimed that it was “not okay” to be white.
The media obviously is going crazy over this and every newspaper in the country is now cancelling Dilbert.
Elon Musk had his own take though, which of course is being labeled as “controversial.”
He claims that the media bias has shifted to becoming racist against whites and Asians.
