Republicans were expected to win New Hampshire District 16.
The Republican was ahead by 23 votes.
While this was a slim margin, it was widely anticipated that the recount wouldn’t change the outcome of the election.
Well… it turns out that assumption was wrong.
The Democrat has been declared the winner of District 16.
After the recount, the Democrat erased the 23 vote deficit and has won with 1 vote.
That’s right: The Democrat gained 24 votes after the recount.
