Comedian Chris Rock jokingly warned lawmakers that arresting President Trump would make him more popular.
Rock made his joke at an event in DC that was honoring Actor Adam Sandler.
The event was attended by many high-profile actors and actresses and even included lawmakers such as Nancy Pelosi.
Rock started his statement by asking the crowd “Are you all really going to arrest Trump?”
He would continue “Do you know this is only going to make him more popular. It’s like arresting Tupac. He’s just gonna sell more records. Are you stupid?”
