The New Georgia Project, a charity founded by Stacey Abrams, is facing continued legal trouble.
Last week, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr announced that his office filed an appeal to continue the New Georgia Project campaign finance case:
New Georgia Project spent millions of dollars in express political advocacy, fought state investigators for years to avoid disclosing any information, & then rushed to federal court to stop our civil proceeding entirely.
This is completely unacceptable & we’re pushing back.

At the center of the allegations are $11 million in investment funds that were quickly used up—directly ahead of firing half of the staff due to “a lack of funds”, as reported by The Washington Free Beacon.
