Omar Fateh, a Democrat state senator from Minnesota, faces an ethics investigation over a number of issues, but I am mainly concerned with his alleged mishandling of absentee ballots during the 2020 primaries.
Sources claim that Fateh’s involvement with his brother-in-law Muse Mohemed, a campaign volunteer who has since been charged with perjury, could potentially be suspect.
Fateh’s colleagues in Minnesota’s Senate suspect that he authorized his brother-in-law to deliver 3 absentee ballots illegally.
This isn’t an election-changing amount but coupled with the other ethical complaints against Fatah, it may prove to be just the tip of the iceberg.

Sahan Journal provided more details:
A federal jury last month convicted that campaign volunteer, Muse Mohamed, of perjury for lying to a grand jury about how he received the three ballots, which he submitted to the Minneapolis election center. No one has been charged with voter fraud in that investigation.
Muse, who is also Omar’s brother-in-law, told a grand jury that he received absentee ballots from the three voters themselves.
Two of the voters testified at his trial that they had never met Muse and had not authorized him to handle their ballots.

Conservative Brief presented Fatah’s response to the claims:
“I was extremely troubled because we worked really, really hard to run our campaign with the utmost integrity,” Omar told the ethics subcommittee.
“I was also horrified, like all of you, when the news came out when the allegations came out, and when the conviction happened.
“Both because it was part of my campaign, but it was extremely hurtful that it was a family member—someone that I cared about, someone I still care about, and someone that I’ll always care about,” he said, adding that he never knew about or encouraged any illegal activity.
